It seems that the latest trend is protein powder comes in the form of Whey Protein, which is cow milk derived. Since we are avoiding dairy on this program, protein powders made from whey are a no-no. So I went to my local health food store and sampled a few different powders.
Keep in mind that they often sell individual servings next to the canisters in the markets so that you can taste them before you invest in a can. That’s what we did and I have listed the brands and flavors we have tried so far and liked (click on the picture to learn more about the product).
You can always alter the flavor of the powders by adding fruits and raw juice to them of course, but these we actually liked plain.
